I thought today was a perfect day to be in the park. I guess Chris Rock agreed. I passed him with his girls on bicycles on my run just now.
Fashion Night Out in NYC
So, Amy and I were able to go to a sweet event that my friend, Dee Rivera (Shop Addicts), put on for Fashion Night Out. It was AWESOME.
Diddy in the Park
Dria & I went for a run at dusk tonight. So beautiful out. Feeling spoiled already with the weather and this crazy city life of mine and then I look up....and P. Diddy runs right by...so of course we double back and follow him to be sure.
Commuter Entertainment
While walking home one day, Bethany & I saw this dude singing into his microphone in Times Square.
The very next day I took the B train which I never really do and guess who got on two stops later? Yep, this guy. See his speaker?
Messing in the Park
So my friend, Corey T, and I were walking in the park and wanted our picture taken outside of Sheep's Meadow. It was about to rain because Ms Irene the hurricane was on the way. There were few people in the park because of this.
Anyway, what a moment! A New York Moment for sure!!

I'm drinking loads of water these days prepping for my big race next weekend. All those bathroom runs paid off. Found $50 on the floor. Nice. Drinks & dessert on me...sort of. Fun night in Southampton with Adriana....who was looking awesome tonight I might add.

Single in Trader Joe's
| I love the Trader Joe's that came to the Upper West Side several months back. I also love how they make their stores for the costumers of that neighborhood. The decor is all UWS....love it! This sign below shows they know who lives here.  |

Schlep
So I knew lots of things would change about me moving to a new place...especially some where like NY. One thing I didn't anticipate is new vocabulary. I say this word A LOT because I have to do it A LOT.
To carry or to drag around.
Use it in a sentence please...."I'm exhausted after schlepping those packages around all day."
Weird Load
This was another moment walking down Columbus where all I could say was, "What the devil?" And, of course, I texted it to Dria.
Turns out the lady is carrying a manikin on her back.
PS Where in her NY apartment is thing gonna go? I know I don't have room for something like that.

You know it is hot when the city is supplying someone to stand on Central Park West at a temporary water fountain.
